Default Berkley Phazer PG40 8’6” fly rod 100 G.C.R.

This is a fly rod I had purchased in the late 80’s i believe. I haven’t used it in as many years.
I was wondering if anyone has any information on it? I could not find any information on the web.
Any information would be greatly appreciated!

Hello Wertachfischer,
in Issue No. 58 (January - March 1985) is an ad advertised
for Berkley Phazer Rods.
"Made of conventionally wound 100 percent carbon fiber,
an alternative to the Lightning at a price of 139.00 DM"
Both rods are equipped with black snake rings and a newly developed reel seat with cork insert ubd in the
lengths 240 cm (AFTMA 6-7) or 260 cm (AFTMA 7-
available.
Greetings from Hessen
Friedemann

I believe the 100 G.C.R refers to 100% graphite composition rod, but I am not positive.
