Default Better late than never!

What looked like it was gonna be my worst NH deer season since moving here in 2006, ended up being not so bad after all.

Hardly got out to hunt in bow season - maybe four sits. Hunted about as many times in ML season. And by the time Dec. 1st rolled around I'd hunted several more times during the rifle season. Not a deer seen on stand the whole season.

Decided to keep at it for the last weekend of rifle season. And I saw three deer over two days. A buck on Saturday which I didn't have a shot at. Then this guy came in behind a doe on Sunday morning. 8 pts, 125 lbs field-dressed. He was a little skinny, been busy all November and probably would've gone 150 on the scales in October.
