I've just finished talking with "The Lyme Angler" and the folks there have agreed to provide us with regular fishing reports for the Dartmouth\Sunapee Region. If you're in Hanover be sure to stop in, they're a full line Orvis shop. (http://www.lymeangler.com)

It's good to hear that Lyme Angler will be providing fishing reports to this site, the more info the better. (God knows I need all the help I can get.) In June of '04 I attended one of their fly fishing seminars/schools and as a know nothing newbie to FF, I found it to be an immense value. The shop provided excellent instruction. Rick Hamel, the man who conducted the seminar, was more than accommodating and informative. He is a very personable man with a quick wit and was very attentive to the attendees. The seminar was conducted over a Friday evening and into late afternoon (5:00pm or so) Saturday. It included 'classroom' and on stream instruction as well as basic casting instruction. Food and drink were abundant and excellent quality! I can't see how, considering all the food, wine and other beverages that were provided and consumed over the two day event, that the $160 charged made them any profit. As I said, the seminar was a great value. However, and not to sound disparaging, I was a little disappointed in the shop's own online fishing reports. The last one they updated on their web site was June 16, 2004. In fact, it is still up and unchanged! Nonetheless, I am hopeful Lyme Angler's fishing reports posted here will be a bit more...ahhhhhhhh...timely. I am looking forward to reading them.

Just a note, the Lyme Angler is moving from their current location to a storefront on Lebanon Street. At that time they will be changing their name to Hanover Outfitters. This will take place sometime in May, I believe.
