I thought someone had mentioned a fly shop in Keene. Does anyone remember that? I'd like to get the name of that shop if I could.

I don't know about Keene, but can highly recommend Peterborough Outfitting. http://www.peterboroughoutfitting.com/
The owner, Tim McDaniel, is a great guy and active in the Mondadnock TU chapter. He can provide a lot of information about fishing in the SW part of NH.

Yep. Peterborough Outfitting sounds like a great bunch of folks and we're already working with them. I hope to get down and meet them sometime this year. Perhaps I can link it up with a trip to Dublin Lake and flip a fly along the south shore.
But the thing is, I can't remember the name of that fly shop in Keene and it's buggin me. So, if anyone can help me get this monkey off my back I'd appreciate it.

The shop you're thinking of wouldn't be Line's End in Marlborough, would it?

I think so. Tell me more about Lines End. If you wish, use PM.

First off, this is not an advertisement, just a consumers POV.....
I've only dealt with Lines End thru the internet, never been to their store. I've got an affinity for Marryat reels and LE are the closest outfit that deals in them. The next closest is in NY state somewhere. I always prefer to buy locally, and if that isn't an option, then I go to the next closest place. Service was very fast....recieved my reel in two days (not bad for free sipping!) and the price was as good if not better than others. They're always having great prices on hooks, flies, etc.
