Just got back from the post office where I found my newly arrived flys. They all look great. I was impressed with Harry's "fly with no name. I'll have to get some of the black & yellow chenile it looks really buggy. I'm sure some of you went nearly blind tying tour little flies. Is anyone one planning to take pictures of the flies? If not I'll try. I must warn you I'm a terrible photographer.

Thanks for hosting John!

I'm not taking pics I have tried many times to post pics on this board and have went down in a burning ball of christmas poo.

The flies were great, if anyone is missing any flies please let me know. I put all the boxes together under poorly lit conditions with about...well way too much scotch on board.

Good Morning Guys,

John, thanks for hosting!

Harry, I'm very impressed with your attention to detail. How much information you managed to pack on to that little card. It's kinda ironic that after all that, you can't take the time to come up with a name for a stupid fly!!!

Hello,

I got my flies. Now Mr. Hicks, there is really no need to spend $8.10 on postage to me. Thank you very much for the steelhead flies. I really liked them and they give me more ideas on massive trolling flies for lakers. I have been playing around with a magnum triple bunny...

Anyway, since you spent so much on postage, I will take pictures of the flies, create a new page on my web site, and upload images there for all to see.

I have recently spent quite a lot of time on setting up my macro photostudio with special lighting and lenses. So I think I can do quite well with the Sulphur emerger. I stack my 1+, 2+, 4+ and 10+ macro filters together to get the detail.

Since I will be on vacation next week, my plan is to have this done before the new year....

Again, thanks for hosting the swap.

Hey All, I got my flies this afternoon, WOW those are some great looking flies.
I don't have too many wet flies, but I think I've started with some good ones.
Even with a mag. light I don't think I can do those little buggers
Great to have a early Christmas gift, Thanks John for hosting this swap.
May you all have a Merry Christmas :D

I am still waiting...

Birddogtwo lives literally 1 mile from me. He is in Sanbornton and got his yesterday. I am on the Sanbornton/Tilton line, but legally in Tilton and nada. Sanbornton is still the old stye PO, where everything is done manually, whereas Tilton is modern and fully automated. I guess the Tilton PO is lame. I'll be looking for them tomorrow.

Oldman,

Your stillwater pattern that you sent me sure is a beaut. I would love to do a stillwater swap. I am finishing up a Steelheading swap on another board right now and could get on the flies by next week. I cannot host this one as I will be moving soon.
