This is my first post. I'm really glad I found your site and I'm sure it grow fast. I have a trip planned from Connecticut (the state, not the river) in early June. I haven't fished in New Hampshire for many years but have good memories about. I plan on staying in Bartlett 2 days and Berlin 2 days. From what I read it looks like there is a lot of good fly-fishing water around both places -almost overwhelming. I would really appreciate any friendly local advice for that time of year. I'm not looking for anyone's "honey-hole' just some general direction. Thanks

You can't go wrong fishing New Hampshire in June, especially in those two locations. Unless you have something planned for Bartlett, try Gorham and fish the Androscoggin from Gorham to the Maine border off Route 2. It's a special regulations stretch, so read up on it in the rule book. While in Berlin, if you were successful in the special reg section, you can go south to Gorham and fish it some more. It's a great section of river.
I'm sure others will chime in with other good options. Enjoy your stay in New Hampshire and I hope you catch a lot of fish.
Where to begin...you'll be hitting the area at prime time.
When in Bartlett, stop up at North Country Angler and ask them about the Saco (or any of the waters I mention here). The Saco can be very good at this time of year. The Ellis up off of 16 in Jackson should also be prime. There are always fish at Timmy's Bridge, but they don't always cooperate. The stretch from Timmy's Bridge to the covered bridge in Jackson is fun pocket water.
While the Andro from Gorham to Maine is fishing well (now managed as a wild trout fishery) I think access can be tough unless you are drifting it. There are guides that float this section.
From Berlin, Errol is only 45 minutes north and it's all wadeable. There are some great fish in this stretch. It will be busy in June though.
Anothe rhour north and you could fish the headwaters of the Connecticut in Pittsburg. All wadeable and prime time. If you can get on the water during the week you will miss the crowds.
