Anyone interested in attending a meeting in Newport regarding a potential Sugar River Project can contact me here or in a private message. This will be a casual yet focused meeting on what we as everyday anglers can do to improve on the quality of fishing the Sugar River and its tributaries. The meeting will most likely be held in our home depending on participation. I would ask that we avoid any alcohol and come prepared to discuss this matter in a positive light as to how we can help foster improvements. Ideas from this meeting may not be unique to the Sugar but can be looked at for other watersheds as well. A date has not been confirmed as of yet but it should be during the 2 weeks following Thanksgiving. Anyone interested?

One is the difference between a meeting and Talking to your self!

Anyone who fish's the river I am sure would like to see it improved. Once the ball is rolling I am sure they will contribute in some way, ( Signature on a Petition, Cash, Time).

Meet come up with an action plan, post it, We will then Pitch it to the other NH fishing groups for suport. That is the beauty of FFNH, all 500 or so of us don't need to pile into your living room!

Keep the faith, and Keep up the good work

Mike

Finally I have a date!! I will hold the meeting on February 6th, a Wednesday, at 7pm. Topics to include but not limited to an extended season, stocking policy recommendations and Wild and Scenic designation for a section of the river. All interested parties are welcome, confirmation not needed but welcomed so that I know if we need an addition on the house first.
