Heading up...

...this weekend. Will be fishing either in Errol or Pittsburg. Been watching the flows closely and am hoping the Andro comes down a bit before the weekend. No real rain forecast so I'm keeping my fingers crossed. The weather this week has been near perfect up in Pittsburg. Flows below !st lake are about as high as I would would like for wading, if they came down to around 250 it would be ideal.

I'll be heading up to Pittsburg a month from tomorrow for a week. Wife is coming along for company and moose watching. A couple of years ago, I had real good fishing with the river at 300 CFS. As you say, you have to pick your spots....can't wade everywhere, but with the water at that level, there's always a chance of some decent fish up from Lake Francis holding in the river.

Where do you stay in P-Burg? Campground or cabin?

This trip I'm staying in Bartlett and will run up early in the morning. When we stay up there (couple times a year) it's usually at either Lopstick or Timberland.

I'll be at Lopstick the 2nd weekend in June.

I'll be up from the 12th to the 18th, likely start fishing the evening of the 12th. Looks like we'll cross paths, as you'll be leaving as I'm arriving.

Yahoo!!!! The flows below 1st Ct Lake have dropped to 200CFS.....The Andro is still up around 2800CFS.....I think I'll hit the Connecticut looking for salmon!
