I bought the stuff for this project last winter but put it on hold as my 3 year old daughter was not ready for the ocean quite yet. :)

Mudhole Tackle Pink Eglass Blank cut down to 4ft, American Tackle Guides, Fuji Reelseat. Pen Baitrunner reel.

Will be posting some stripers caught on this rig soon.

Beautiful job. The use of the cork tape is perfect for kids, because they have a tough time gripping the rod with a regular size cork or EVA handle.

I've got a purple wrapped fly rod and a pink wrapped fly rod hanging on the wall that my daughters use.

Great stuff!

That's pretty cool. Is it hard to find girly blanks like that? I have been picking up the 'Pink' fly reels hoping that as my girls get older they will become more interested. It would be cool to match that up with a matching rod some day.
