Inflatable boat on Andro?

I am going to be heading up in earlly June from Connecticut. I have an inflatable boat- 10' Sea Eagle with rigid floor and seats. Would we be risking our lives to attempt to float down any sections of the Androscoggin in it.

Also, I have a 5 hp electric trolling motor. In New Hampshire is it necessary to have registration and safe boating certificate (which I do not) to operate this as it is in Conn?

Not at all. I wouldn't try a float tube, but the upper Andro is very amenable to just about any type of watercraft so long as the flows aren't ridiculous. There are plenty of places to put in and your motor should serve you just fine. Just make sure you have a heavy enough anchor for when you find a sweet spot.
