Pillsbury State Park

Pillsbury State Park includes a State Campground. The State Park web site indicates a warm water fishery in the several ponds at the camp site.

I'm curious if anyone has any insights to the water in the park? Any trout water close by? I'll be visiting with the familiy in an upcoming weekend. Your insights (and pattern recommendations) are appreciated.

I scouted out the Park last spring and ended up hauling a canoe into Bear Pond. F&G had stocked some trout the previous year in the pond. However, no fish were found and the pond was really a big shallow beaver bog. I noticed F&G didn't put any fish in last year. Sorry it's not really that much help :roll: .
