I just read that they completed a "scatter stocking" in that area - TU, Guides - drifted the river and stocked about 800 bows and browns - there are also lots of hold overs in that area - Lots of people fish the Wild R. and where it meets the Andro - lots of good water below as well - tough to access in many places after that - better in a drift boat or canoe.

Thanks Trouthunter. One last question. Is there enough wadeable water in that section for a person to to spend a day moving along the river?
Greatly appreciate any info, as its for an old fishig buddy who lives in Boothbay who's looking for some new closer to home water (2 hour drive).

Yes - you can spend a day wading in that area - its not easy as the river is quite wide and big water - find the wild r. and fish from where it runs in to 1/2 mile below - that could take you all day - good luck
