I wonder what this cold weather, lack of sun and prolonged high water is going to do to the hatches?? I suppose the short answer is delay them...but how much will they be impacted?? It wouldn't surprise me if nature has a way of catching up real fast. I saw someone post that there was a great caddis hatch coming off the Winni R. That's a good sign as that should be almost a nightly occurance now. Also how late will the big Hex hatch be up on Back lake this year?? Usually it happens somewhere around the last week in June or the first week in July. I love dry fly fishing the best and I hope that it won't hurt what I feel is the best fishing of the year the next 4 or 5 weeks. Any Thoughts??
