Anyone fish- or heard how the fishing has been - at Upper Hall Pond. I haven't fished it for 3 years and the last time I was there the water was incredibly low and the fishing was fair at best. I would like to get up there in the next couple of weeks. It's a real pretty spot.

I would be willing to go out on a limb and say the water won't be low.

I fished there today - from 8:00am until 11:30 when we got chased off by the lightning.
The beavers have been busy. The dam is repaired and the water is quite high. Although we arrived late, we got quite a few brookies in the 9-12 inch range on dry flies. (Size 16 and 18 parachute mayflies, both dark brown and grey bodies.)
The road from Sandwich is barely passable with 4WD, but the road from Campton is not too bad. the road to the pond has some deep, deep ruts.
Bring your DEET.
