if i were to tie 2 patterns of different colors for strippers what would they be and what colors. I've heard of the great lefty deceiver, but am curious. I like clam dunking for strippers cuz we go behind my parents house in the marsh and its so easy to get away and drink ah fish with out the wives. Never fly fished for strippers but have use the center pin on the fly rod and landed them. Fun with the schoolies with the no drag but a monster would challenge the skills.

I never expected another Centerpin guy in Pelham, I planned on fishing for stripers with mine but never got to it. I Figured a Clouser tied on a jig hook would do it, or even a pink worm. Can also run plugs like a drift boat with the CP, never tried it but have seen it done. Will be making my SR arrangements this week. The DSR opens in 4 Weeks!
If I could have only one fly for stripers it Would be a clouser, For The Mack I would do Yellow or White,Chartruese and white. For Hampton north I would do Olive and white. I Like Brown and white to. Yellow or red eyes seem to work the best for me.

I'm a big fan of large deciever varients, flatwings, and epoxy and tubing flies.

just cuz I have a centerpin doesn't mean I'm graceful, I love the SR we go Columbus week, but don't rush it (I'm already thinking ice fishing but) archery opener is Sept 15.
