Does NH F+W clip the fins off all stocked trout?

The short answer is no. They clip for research purposes only. If they want to follow a particular year class in a given body of water they clip a particular fin.

Landed several at Archery Pond with clipped fins....kind of depressing to land an 18 inch brookie that's missing fins!

I would love to get some of that kind of depressing fishing. Roll your fish over and look at the good side. You are looking at the glass half empty!!
I have ear samller than the other! I know how your 18 inch brookie feels!!

Tom,

and I thought you leaned to the left becasue the floor in the shop was uneven!

Ken,
Sorry don't have the mylar tubing in black. Let me know if you have trouble finding it. I will be putting in an order for materials soon.

You are right about the shop floor!

How are you doing? I remember you saying that you were to have surgery this spring.

Tom,

If you can get some let me know and I'll come up. Using the method I'm trying now ( sharpie marker) isn't really working. Wide mylar piping. I'm trying to tie some zonkers.

I'm out of the cast and start PT today. Hopefully, I'll be able to start running by August.

Glad to hear you are on the mend.

I will check my catalogs today for the black mylar piping.

I'll keep you posted.
