I actually went out to the gun clubs website yesterday and amazingly, they still had the advertisement for the event prominently displayed.

Incredibly sad, stupid waste of a young life.

As an avid hunter and gun owner I'm appalled at the gun club's lack of common sense and at the sensationalistic way they advertised this event. If Barack Obama or whomever one day comes to take our guns away, they'll use incidents like this one as their justification. No 8 year old should ever have that kind of a weapon in his hands for any reason.
