dry my waders

I went in over my waders and was totally soaked. this was Sat. and the inside of the boot foot is still wet! I have a fan blowing in them as we speak, but I want to use them tomorrow. I was thinking about sitting them in the sun tomorrow during work becasue the boots are black I was thinking they would get very hot. What is the best way to dry them out?

I understand your dilemma. Obviously, the optimum drying would occur with better air flow over the wet area. Cutting a hole in the toe would work.

However, I use crumpled newspapers, changed regularly. With the addition of some heat (your sun suggestion should work) your boots should dry nicely.

If they aren't dry in time, plastic grocery bags over your socks will keep you dry in the boots.
