Nice set-up! Can't wait for the reports.
Great rig... definately easier than a hardsided driftboat at many of the launches around here.
Wanna make a run to the Deerfield?

Here's a link to what the Harrison Bros use on the Deerfield. I know they have at least 2 (I'm pretty sure it's more) they use. Zoar Outdoors floats this too. I have seen pics of 6 to 10 rafts tied up on the water at the Fife Brook Dam waiting for their clients.

Aljack, those boats look like they were build for looks, not for fly fishing. Standing braces, steel floor pieces, steel dry boxes, these are things that just get in the way and tend to hang up fly line and dramatically increase boat weight. My rig still has dry storage made of PVC material under the seats, but the weight is far less. My boat weights 175 lbs with frame and all, just like it is in the pic. Those boats with the NRS frames must get very little use because I went through 2 NRS frames (like the one pictured on your link) in a guide season and decided to build my own instead of wasting my money. At the complete fly fisher we build all the boat frames because all of the commercial frame companies are terrible. If you only use it a dozen times a year then it is great, but for a hard core fisher person, you really need to sit in and use a frame and note everything your line catches on and then you will know if the frame is worth a crap. Good pic of the river though....looks like the blackfoot back home
