my wife surprised me tonight by taking me down to ktp and getting me some saltwater fly stuff! got a 9 wt, bunch of flies, leaders, etc. no stripping basket yet, but soon :). think i might try it out tomorrow night!

tried it out today! didn't catch anything, but it got me in the mood! i can see what you guys mean about having a stripping basket. what a pain the arse having my line dragged around by the current like that :P. blah. anyway, hopefully next time i go out i'll actually, i dunno, catch a fish :). if any of you want to show me a good spot or two near portsmouth, i wouldnt object ;).
