To everyone on this forum: Tim McDaniel (Peterborough Outfitting Company) is closing the door on his shop in Peterborough. When FFiNH was starting up we contact Tim to see if he could help us out with fishing reports and without hesitation Tim agreed to supply us with reports for the Monadnock Region of our state. Now it's time to pick up a few bargains and help Tim liquidate his inventory so he can close up shop without loosing his shirt. If there's anything you need, give Tim a call and see if he has it.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PETERBOROUGH OUTFITTING COMPANY CHANGES PRIORITIES

Peterborough, NH – August 1, 2005 – Peterborough Outfitting Company, a fly-fishing, sportswear, and related gift retailer, located in Depot Square, Peterborough, announces its closure.

Citing changing family priorities, Peterborough Outfitting Company’s owner, Tim McDaniel, announced today that it has become necessary to close their Depot Square retail store after three years. Planning for the business began 5 years ago with the retail store opening in 2002. The store has grown steadily in sales, store stock, and customers each year since its opening.

“This has always been a dream for me and the business has been successful with positive cash flow since opening,” says Mr. McDaniel. “It is a difficult decision, but it is not a business failure. I believe family priorities should always outweigh personal dreams and there will be no regrets.”

Peterborough Outfitting Company will be liquidating store stock through August with final closure in September.
