Can anyone recommend a good, reputable company that provides Travel Insurance and Vacation Insurance.
We'll be getting some Travel Insurance through our airline (and credit card company which we used to purchase the tickets). But I'm considering supplementing it to make sure we can get as close to full replacement value as possible (without spending a fortune).
Vacation Insurance is a different matter, and sort of a new product as I've learned. Basically you can insure your vacation against a rain-out. This is different than what is typically covered by Travel Insurance that would protect against a direct hurricane hit and other situations where airports are closed, evacuations are mandated, etc. Basically, Vacation Insurance will reimburse if a certain number of days get a certain amount of rain. Has anyone used this before? Recommendations?
