Well I have been reviewing the latest posts about all the fly fishing seminars, workshops, and swaps around the state this winter. Does anyone know of any similar workshops in the Concord area? This Florida boy doesn't really want to drive a distance in this unpredicatable weather. I know, I am a candy a$#. Brrrr... thanks in advance Phil :D :?:

Phil,

Have no idea what "a distance" means to you. You might want to look into the Manchester Fly Fishers Association. They meet at the Sweeney Post of the VFW twice a month, one of which I'm pretty sure they do some tying.

We may do another get together at my place in Jan or Feb I'm @ 25 minutes north of Concord. Manchester fly tyers meet the 2 and 4 Weds of every month. The meeting on the 4th s for tying. The Sanbornton fly tyers meet Thursdays again @ 20 -25 minutes from Concord. Check out TU in Concord they may have programs going. Good luck and happy tying

Phil,

Go to PIP Printing in Concord - ask for Angus. He will "hook" you up!

I second the suggestion to speak with Angus; he's been very active in our TU chapter for years and has an awful lot of good answers. Give him a ring- he's always happy to talk fishing!

The TU meetings are always the third Thursday of the month at the Forest Society- stop in for a visit sometime. No meeting this month, though- we start up again in January.

Glad to answer any questions you may have here or off-board.

All best~

Dan
