Hmmmmm....the socializing/lying parts seem well within my talents. Of course, the tying part is as yet still beyond my very limited abilities. Nonetheless, I'd consider making an appearance should your invite become a reality. Could I at least provide something in the way of refreshment?

I'm sure it will be a reality even if it's just a small number. I need this to force me to tie. I've been so busy that I'm way behind. I went bird hunting yesterday with CJ for the last time this year so now I can concentrate on tying and fishing. Everyone is welcome regardless of skill level. We have enough equipment and materials to let a beginer try tying without any cash outlay.
Enough experienced tyers will be there to help you out

Dave, regards NY and hunting: yes, I did go to NY and no, I did not come home with any venison. As it was I arrived in NY just in time for the beginning of the next Ice Age. Cold was the order of the trip with snow up to my knees in most places. I saw plenty of sign, but no deer up close and personal. Two days into my three day hunt I called it quits and headed home. Waking up every morning to sub-zero temps, blustery winds and deep snow just wasn't my idea of a good time. Here it is nearly the new year and conditions are far better now than they were when I was in NY. Go figure. :?

I'd love to stop by and tie on 2/12 but I fish the winni ice fishing derby w/ my son every year, and that is derby weekend. I just wanted to let you know as you know we live practically right next door to each other. I'll catch you on the next one, or hopefully see you at the Sanbornton tiers.
