Spent the last couple of mornings at PI and finally hit pay dirt today.
Bunch of these guys around as well as Pollock, Tinker mack and loads of silversides.
Only landed two, but this one gave me a pretty good tow. Can't wait to hook a real cow!

I'm envious! When I get better at fly fishing I intend to attempt some saltwater action. At this rate that is probably a minimum of a year down the road.

Don't hesitate to get out there now T_bone. Believe me: if I can hookem, you can hookem! I only had to cast about 20 feet to drop my fly into the middle of a bunch of busting fish. Little to no skill involved and there's nothing like getting tugged around by a decent sized schoolie to boost your confidence!
