An easy way to help save the pogies ( Bunker,mehaden etc.), the fall run used to be fuled by tons of peanut bunker, have not seen that in years.

In the center of the screen you will see an image that says ACT NOW. Near the bottom is a box that says,Take action ,Just follow the link and enter in the information requested.

Done. We need to keep a weather eye on the brood stock impact of companies that produce Omega-3 fish oil products as well. They may not be using species that humans normally consume, but that doesn't mean they aren't having a huge impact on other species dependent on these creatures for food. Same is true with overfishing of sardines globally, for both human and pet consumption. Several classes of apex predators are intimately dependent on healthy sardine populations for their survival, among them all the major billfish and most tuna species.
