Since the first one is coming to a close and April 1st is coming fast who's up for another swap. I'm going to limit it to 12 people and leave the kind of fly up to the individual. I have one stipulation that it must be a freshwater pattern. Deadline March 31st.

Sure...what the hey. Count me in too. I'll tie up a streamer I concocted I call a creamsicle. It's a nice usefull pattern for those who like to troll for early spring ice out slamon

Almost halfway there.

Come on guys, you'll be needing these flies this season, which, if you hadn't noticed, is coming quickly.

This is a first for me doing a fly swap, but I'll make some bead head caddis nymphs they work pretty well for me. size 14.

If no body else jumps in before the deadline do you guys still want to tie the dozen and I'll split them up with between us?

Mine will go in the mail tomorrow - I panicked when I found that I was very low on some material so I had to make a switch - I'm sending some small Red Gray Ghosts that are small enough for casting, but work good as a trolling fly as well. They have been a staple for me for landlocked's.

The flies went out yesterday. Sorry for the delay. My job is in question and I might be getting layed off the end of June. To make matters worse my wife just lost her job so the flies have been on the back burner.

Paul is too kind. The delay was my fault. I received mine today, and they are all very nice.

Thanks to everyone.

Thanks for the compliment "J"but I did hold them up for a few weeks myself. If any of you guys catch anything on those semi real golden stones let me know. It's a new pattern I came up with this spring and I don't know if they'll work. I'm curious if the Japanese nymph legs are too prickly for a finicky trout. They might spit them out faster than a more traditional stone pattern or maybe not. However in fast water it won't matter they'll hook themselves. They're not weighted so you'll need to use something to get them down on the bottom.

Just like the last swap, the flies were all very nice. Whether the legs are too prickly or not, they are very easy on the eyes - a true work of art. I wish I had the talent to make such a thing.
