The April 10th meeting of the Manchester based Trout Unlimited Chapter will feature the following -- All are welcome - no admittance charge - Doors open at 6:30 - presentation at 7:30 PM - location - Sweeney Post American Legion Hall - 251 Maple Street in Manchester.
THE NEW ENGLAND FLY BOX - Fly patterns and the hatches they match
The presentation covers fly fishing New England from ice out until the fall. Streamers, nymphs, dries, wet and soft hackle flies for NE waters along with some the better known hatches including the Alder Fly and Hex are included.
Jim Norton, of New Hampshire Rivers Guide Service is a licensed New Hampshire guide and member of the New Hampshire Guides Association. Author of Granite Lines published in 2010; Jim wrote for the New Hampshire Union Leader/Sunday News for almost twenty years as well as articles for other publications and magazines.
Jim’s column now appears monthly in the New Hampshire Vermont Outdoor Gazette.
Jim spends the majority of his time guiding on New Hampshire waters and has also fished from Alaska to Newfoundland .
Jim is a featured speaker at shows, clubs and events throughout New England .
