View Full Version : Tioga Teton
Anybody have any experience with a Teton Tioga #4 opr 6 LA? I know they are a good basic reel for salt but don't know much about the rep in sweetwater situations.

I have been using the Tioga 6 for the past four years. It's a rock solid reel. Excellent quality.

I'll second that - While I myself don't have one, one of my buddies from Maine does and he loves it.

and I'll third that...and like Harry - I don't have one either but a good friend who is a die hard Striper fishermen has a couple and has been trying to get me to buy one for years! Only reason I haven't is b/c I've been building my rod collection over the past few years.

Ken, do those easterly winds from Seabrook reach your house? Or do you guys closer to the Seacost practice that "New Math"?
Last summer I had a chance to play quite a few 16+" fish in fairly open water. I found that the big drag knob allowed very precise adjustments. It's a good piece of equipment.
