How does Hampton Harbor look?

I was hoping to hit the Merrimack this week, but it is a combat zone at the moment. Has anyone been to Hampton? is it any better? Are there fish there?

I haven't been down there. Access to 1A is closed by my house (via Rt. 27). I haven't taken the time to find an alternate route if one is available. I'll try to check it out this evening and post an update.

I saw three guys fishing the marsh on Rt 1 about 3pm, and a small alumium boat headed toward the harbor, didn't have time to stop though

I fished most of the incoming yesterday. Water was a little muddy, there were some weeds, not bad, got about 6 schoolies to 24" white flashy clouser. The fish are there, and when the water clears, it should be pretty hot.

Fished the tail end of the outgoing tide on Sunday morning. A few small schoolies, but nothing to write home about. Saw a few other folks catching small fish. Chartreuse clouser was working well.
