Paul, Sean, and I met last week to talk about Phase II for FFiNH. I though you'd like to know some of the thing we're planning on doing and some of the things we'd like to do.

Starting this coming week, well actually we've already started by adding the Salt Forum, but anyway, this coming week you'll start to see changes which will include a Buy, Sell, & Trade Forum (we've already seen the need for that), a slight change to the look of the "Home" page which will include a smaller version of the "7 Regions" map, a "Links" page, a "Water Flow" page, and a ton more useful links. Along with the use of the "7 Regions" map, each Region page will have more links at the bottom. For example there will be links for | Fishing Reports | Fly Shops | Guides & Outfitters | Lodging & Campgrounds | Food | for that region. Where we're trying to go is, to create a web site which will be a resource for any flyfisher planning a trip in or to New Hampshire. One of the things we need to do in order to complete this phase is to gather a listing of places to stay, eat, and where are the fly shops. We'd like to know if you'd be interested in helping us with that? Would you be willing to tells us about the convenience store you went into that had great sandwiches and a small fly counter down in the back or the best place to have breakfast (a meal) where ever it was you were fishing, or the campgrounds and cabins that are good? Could you jot down the info, name, location, phone # and pass it on to us? The only caution is we wouldn't want to promote a business that would not reflect well on us as a group, so I'd say we don't want to know EVERY place out there, only the really GOOD ones.

So, that's where we're headed now. I think Phase II will take some time to complete, but to my way of thinking, Phase II is going to be fun.

P.S. We've been busy as well getting people from all over the State to submit regular fishing reports. Some of the folks we have on board already are Lopstick Lodge, Cast Away Adventures, North Country Anglers, and The Lyme Angler. Of course, we are currently working to get others on board and hope to talk with them soon. We also have been working on folks to write article on fly fishing in general and in NH in particular. Some of the Pro's we've talked with are willing to supply us with articles on new "stuff" in the fly fishing world as well. So, lots of new thing will be popping up. :D
