This fly was great to me when I lived in NH, it still works great in central PA, tied one on fishing clarks creek down here the other day and had browns and brookies all over it. Great pattern!!!

Great pics, I do think it is not legal to possess owl feathers for tying, but I have been told by some very old fly fisherman that they are best when it comes to tying flies....

I would say my TFO pro 5wt is about a medium action, and I really like it. My dad fishes with the same model in a 4wt and thats a good little rod too. Im interested to see how a faster action rod...
