I did a little shopping and found some 2/0, 10X Long Carrie Stevens Hooks at Stone River Outfitters yesterday. So I decided to tie my Green Gobbler on a proper hook.

It works fine.
The only real drawback is that it doesn't have a cam mechanism to lock the jaws onto the hook like the Peak or Renzetti. Instead there are 2 lock screws you tighten to lock the hook...
