Default Wife is home

After 3 full months in the hospital, my wife came home Monday. As far as we know her leukemia is still in remission, and she is being treated as an outpatient in the UMass hematology/oncology clinic. She will need another bone marrow biopsy soon to hep determine future treatment.

She is still very weak from the treatment and long period of inactivity, but she is gaining strength every day. We have help from a visiting nurse and a physical therapist to get her back on her feet.

Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers, and please remember that this was just the first battle in what is likely to be a long war.

Thanks again.

Good news none the less. Thoughts still heading your way.

FF99-
That is awesome.... It's a good sign that she won this round.

But just remember- you can't bitch to her about anything anymore for feeling ill...

Great news....thanks for the update.

It is a plain fact, however, that downstream fishing with a non-imitative fly (lure, in the British sense) does not mix comfortably with upstream imitative fishing...I'll stay out of the argument about whether this technique is really fly fishing. In terms of interest, it is for me ahead of most downstream fishing and spinning. And I've already opined that spinning is better than staying at home with the television set.

Really great to hear. If there could be future battles to face, it's good she's getting her strength back so quickly. We're all behind you.
