Default Alton Bay ice-out

Anyone know if Alton Bay is iced out to Sandy Point yet? Beyond?

In terms of interest, it is for me ahead of most downstream fishing and spinning. And I've already opined that spinning is better than staying at home with the television set.

As of yesterday it was about 40 ft beyond the music platform in the middle of the bay.

This morning was way out past the bandstand, this afternoon was blown in a little but very broken up. Lot of big open gaps in the ice west of Sandy Point. Looking out from the scenic view by Mt Major you can see a lot of openings in the ice and it's extremely black.
