Stripers?

I have next week off and was thinking of a Striper trip. Are they in in any numbers? I'm specifically thinking of Hampton harbor and the Newcastle area.

They're definitely in.
I haven't had much luck in Hampton Harbor.
Plum Island is good everywhere from what I've heard.
I've had better luck in southern Maine than in NH.
Your NH saltwater license is good both in Maine and MA, if you didn't already know that.

Huh? Mass has their own salt water license and maine has 1 license for any water. How does this work?

NH saltwater license is good up to the Nuble Light at York beach I believe

It’s good in all of Maine and Massachusetts (salt).
The rule is in the NH Saltwater Digest under ‘Reciprocity’.

Resident anglers possessing a valid N.H. Recreational Saltwater License can legally fish in all tidal and estuarine areas of Massachusetts and in Maine. Reciprocity will be granted in N.H. for those nonresident anglers possessing a valid Maine or Mass. saltwater license.
