Well it looks like 6 of us. That's a nice easy number to tie. It's been almost 4 weeks so I'll go ahead and close the swap. I will send every one a PM with my address. I usually only get to my POBox on the weekend but if I know you sent them I'll try to get there sooner. I know it's nerve wracking wondering where your flies are. Since there are only 5 others I'll tie you each a tungsten bead version and an un-weighted fly

Happy Thanksgiving to all
Dave

How season appropriate! Turkey skinned scuds? I look forward to seeing whatever you tie. Who knows maybe we can get together over the winter and I can help you get arrested. Any flights coming up? Happy thanksgiving.

Well I just finished my flies. This is Ed Story from Feather-Crafters favorite nymph pattern. He said to only tie it in a #14. It's a very simple tie. I've had success trolling it from a float tube on Sky Pond when the black flies are biting

Head- I used size small brown tungsten nymph heads for the weighted

Hook- 3906B with the barb pinched down

Thread- #8 grey Uni

Tail- 3-4 Pheasant tail fibers

Body- sparsely dubbed pine squirrel (it's spikey stuff)

With luck there might even be pictures attached.

those flies look quite fishable! No flights coming but I would love to get together either to shoot or tie flies. Happy thanksgiving too!

Great Walt I'll try to get to the PO Monday to check. I ordered some little thank you gifts for everyone that should be in Monday as well. Oldman sent 6 flies each for every one. I think everyone will be pleased.
