This is a very fun fly to tie!
My first attempt. I'll tie extras and then send the best ten.

I finished my flies yesterday and Newfound gave me his. I tried to attach pictures. We'll see if they're here. While I was looking for something else I found these soft body head, wingcase, leg things I bought several years ago so I decided to use them for the swap. The flies should get to the bottom quickly I used lead substitute wire for the under body, a tungsten bead and copper wire for the rib.

I just finished mine. I'll send them off tomorrow.
With the tungsten beads and wire on each side of the shank, they should get down quick even in faster water.

I can't wait to see everyone's ties!

Warren
I'm glad you posted pictures of your flies. I think they're great. I was going to post pix of the flies recieved after I found out if the pix I posted showed up. I'll post waltryan's and Newfounds tomorrow And the rest as they come in unless the tiers post them themselves. Given my meager photographic talent I hope you won't be insulted.

I fished a lot of those little ones out west, deadly, here too .

That mercer biot stone is one of my go to's, tho, I am a bit more liberal with the legs, either wrapped hen hackle through the thorax, or rubber.
