Canoe Stabilizers

I have a 12ft Radisson canoe which I absolutely love because of it's light weight and good stability. There are times, however, that I could use a little more stability on large lakes and windy days. I've seen these add on stabilizers, and was wondering if anyone has had experience with such devices. Any input would be appreciated.
