Default 2 Wght Sea Run Rod

After fishing redbrook last year I wanted to build a brookie rod with salt water compatible components. It was to double as my hike in brookie rod for the whites as well.
Went with a 2 wght 4 piece TFO Blank
American Tackle All Aluminum Seat
Titanium guides, oversized a bit.
Turned the grip
Thing is a cannon! Funny thing to say about a 2 weight but it casts very well. Very fun rod.
Picked up a SZ 2 teton tioga reel used, has a great drag for such a tiny reel.

That's kind of what I was thinking when I read that. I bet it will riffle out specks of dust.

Lowwall, great idea. Was that Red Brook on Cape Cod? How was it? I checked it out once, but it was in March and there wasn't much going on. Rumors have circulated that it was in rough shape.

Default We Did Well

Fished it in March and did well, hopefully we can get something like that going here some day.
Great spot to stop and fish at when you are fishing the ponds down there.

Nice I didn't know you guys hit the red brook this spring. Maybe I should check that trips report forum once in a while.

Default Orders!

Any time, no charge. Like building them but it is tuff to justify the amount of rods I have. Literally piles of them!

I love my 3wt. TFO Finesse series!
