Default Small Chop Saw\Cuttoff Saw Recomendations

I am looking for a small chop saw for cutting arrows and rod blanks. I would like to go with general purpose chop saw and not an arrow saw as I do this 1X Year at most, I am a DIY type and don't like relying on shops for stuff like this( or anything else).

I just recieved this one and it is going back today. Does not cut square and cannot be adjusted.

I have been lucky with harbor freight tools , good enough for light duty amatuer stuff usually, not this time , real POS. The guy from India I talked to understood my compalnts completly

Any ideas? I would think that dremel would make an attachmnet like this. I could make something using a dremel but i got more $ than time these days so I am going this route.

Any ideas?

Mabe you could use a hacksaw and two blocks of wood or maybe more then $30.00 and it will work better. Just my 2 cents.

lowwall,

If you only do it once a year, you don't need a motor. Try the Mini-cut Pro at $12.50 (see http://www.mytoolstore.com/roth/tubecut1.html)

If you've ever done plumbing, you'll know how fast these can cut 1/2" copper. 1/4" aluminum would be even easier.
