Hampton Harbor gathering
Norm (Bridgeman), James (Tippet) and my brother Mark all met me this morning for some wade fishing on the Seabrook side of Hampton Harbor. Wow that wind was howling, first out of the NE and then from due north making casting a genuinely dangerous endeavor! Chuckin' and duckin', the four of us managed to catch over 3 dozen schoolie stripers under the toughest conditions I can remember in a long time!!
Nothing big, fish were to about 16" or so, with most around a foot. But hey, the action was pretty consistent and when a school moved in close we were all nailing 'em pretty good. For a morning like this one, I'll take it!!
Best part by far was that Tippet was able to get his FIRST striper on the fly!! Congrats to James and I'm sure there will be many more productive striper trips ahead for you.
