Congrats Connor, nice, very nice. did you get her on the slob slayer? I'm hoping too break the 40" BARRIER tomorrow. we'll see. I've been able to more that quadruple the amount of fish taken to this point compared to last year but I would like to work up and out of the 30" range.
Greedy aren't I. Just hoping the wind settles out and the fish gods smile down on us

last weekend didn't turn out the way I had hoped. brought to hand 8 fish anywhere between 18 - 22" and that was basically just after sunrise. The winds never did calm down the way they were forecasting and they never changed to a south west wind, the water stayed murky and I imagine there was a flood of fresh from the river. as low came I realized that the area had changed dramatically so places where I thought there were depressions were gone ( filled in ) whole different ball game. none the less the larger fish just weren't there.

Well....I've been to Peirce Island and Fort Constitution a couple of times and in the last few weeks and got into a blitz once...a harbor pollock blitz that is. That is the only action I have had wet wading from shore.
