    Actually I've not fished either of those. I tend to fish in Mass as I'm on the border. You can't step anywhere in the deerfield without stepping on a rock the size of a football. Just remember to say ahead of the water. Also, check out when they are doing the water release so you don't get caught unaware. It comes up quickly

    Hey Sebastian fished the Deerfield about a dozen times. TOUGH wading due to a ton of rocks. Bring a wading staff. Start high by fife and go south as the water flows. You may need to move 3 or so times. I like the area just below where the road goes under a small overpass and it's one line around a sharp corner.
