Default Airflo Multi-Tips Line

Anyone have experience with Airflo Multi-Tips line? I like the idea of being able to easily switch from a floating to sinking tip without carrying/buying multiple reels/spools. Any experience with other similar line systems (Rio Versatip or others)?

I have had great experience with Air Flow lines. The boys at Stoneriver turned me onto them. I have the tactical and distance lines.

I have tried Rios sink tip. My opinion is that they are garbage in general. No matter how complex the connection point will always be a weak point, which makes for crappy casting. Not an issue when your shortline nymphing, but when you're trying to launch a streamer the hinging issue that the connection causes will lose you power.

Additionally, the tips I found were ineffective at helping gain depth. They don't seem to make the tips heavy enough to be good, however, it is probably the result of poor casting ability. Of course, this is coming from a guy that uses 140 on rivers.

To each their own, but I think that specialized lines are worth it... Its as easy to change the reel as it is to change the tip.
